Florida Youth Camp

Florida Youth Camp is a week long event held each summer at Camp Gan Israel Florida in Fruitland Park, Florida. (Formerly Camp Geneva) Camp staff and attendees come from all over Florida and even some from other states or countries to participate in the fun. Camp is a great place for kids to make long lasting friendships.

Camp Cost - $575

Camp Cost - $575

Cost includes housing and all meals, activities and games. Each camper will receive a t-shirt, water bottle and draw-string bag. Camp is from Saturday to Friday. A $75 nonrefundable deposit is all you need to hold your spot. Camp is for kids entering the 4th - 6th grade in the fall of 2026

There is swimming, field games, arts & crafts, amphitheater, and much more. We will have plenty of games and activities. The Youth Camp has its own area apart from Teen Camp.

Camp Dates

Youth Camp has twelve cabins that sleep up to 12 people. Each cabin is equipped with bunk beds and a private bathroom. The cabins are divided by gender and each will have two counselors of the same gender supervising them.

The Florida Youth Camp will run from June 13-19, 2026.  Early Registration Opens early 2026  and runs until May 1st.  Registrations after that date will be charged a $75 late fee.

Volunteering as a counselor, day volunteer, or in another supporting role is very fulfilling as you witness the campers grow in confidence, friendship, and faith in one week. Please visit the staff application page for more details.

We will have medical staff on-site the entire week. Water activities are supervised by certified lifeguards. Safety is a top priority for our directors and staff.

Camp Gan Israel

Arrival and Departure

Check In opens Saturday June 13th at 3pm. Campers and their families will not be allowed to check in until designated time. Please plan to arrive at Camp Geneva accordingly. Check in continues until 5pm. If you're unable to make it during normal check in hours, please call or email prior to 6/2/2026 to make those arrangements. 


Sign Out & Pick Up of Campers begins Friday June 19th at 10am and continues until 12pm. There is a closing ceremony that parents and families are welcome to watch and enjoy that begins at 10AM. Each Camper must be signed out and given a ticket to show the security guard at the gate in order to leave the property.  

What to Bring

What to Bring to YOUTH Camp 2026

(Teen camp has a different list)

CLOTHING:

Clothes for a week (Shorts, jeans, & t-shirts)

  1. Clothes you don't mind getting stained
  2. Hoodie or sweatshirt
  3. Pajamas
  4. Hat
  5. Modest swimsuit
  6. Rashguard and/or cover up
  7. Goggles for lake and swimming pool (optional)
  8. Rain Gear
  9. Tennis shoes (Only closed-toed shoes may be worn at camp. Crocs are for indoor activities only)
  10. House shoes, Crocs or slippers for the lodge (These shoes will stay in the lodge and will only be worn inside the lodge)
  11. Sandals for shower (Optional)

TOILETRIES:

  1. Toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, chapstick, brush, hair ties, etc.
  2. Sunscreen (Reef compliant)
  3. Insect Repellent
  4. Personal medications (Will be checked in w/nurse, must be in original prescription bottle)
  5. 4 towels, washcloths

BEDDING:

  1. Pillow
  2. Sleeping bag, or sheets/ blankets (Twin size)

DAILY CAMP ESSENTIALS:

  1. Bible (Not Digital), small notebook, pen or pencil
  2. Small Backpack (We will NOT be providing backpacks this year. Please make sure your camper’s name is on their bag. This is a small bag meant to carry water bottle and other small items needed while not in cabin)
  3. Personal Water Bottle (Please make sure your child’s name is on their water bottle)
  4. Flashlight with batteries

OTHER ESSENTIAL CAMP SUPPLIES:

  1. Water gun for water war (Please make sure the camper’s name is on the water gun!)

CAMP EXTRAS:

  1. (Optional) White shirt, socks, bag or whatever they would like to tie-dye
  2. Optional) Party outfit - (Mario Bros Theme). Glow sticks, glow in the dark stuff
  3. Money for Concessions - optional (Concession cards available for purchase before and during camp)
  4. Camera (Optional


**Please remember that campers are not allowed to have cell phones, Apple Watches, or any other electronic devices at camp. If brought to camp, we will keep them in safe storage until camp ends.
